About

Ducks Not Included is a comic about a duck… sometimes.

It was created back in 2005 as a visual journal – a way to document some of the events and conversations in my life at the time.  The majority of these never made it beyond the notebooks and post-it notes they were originally doodled on.  The only comic that made its way onto the computer for a full color treatment was the comic “Orange Chicken,” which was a verbatim transcript of an IM conversation I had with a friend of mine.  Since then I’ve sketched out many ideas, but simply never had the time to translate all of these doodles to actual comics.

Fast forward to 2012.  I’m giving it another shot.  Most of the characters in this comic are based on or inspired by people I’ve met throughout my life, some are completely fictional, while others might be a mash-up of several personalities rolled into a single character.

This comic is drawn on a Wacom Intuos4 with the help of Alias Sketchbook Pro, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop.
